Phonemic awareness- The ability to recognize and manipulate the individual sounds (phonemes) within spoken words.
Phonics- Understanding the relationship between letters and the sounds they represent (graphemes and phonemes) and using this knowledge to decode words.
Fluency- The ability to read text accurately, at an appropriate pace, and with proper expression.
